So we've had a quiet start to 2014, but we've still been busy doing lots of cool things! Emily has just come back from a crazy trip to Japan and Hayley has been creating an amazing painting installation for The Colour Studio at Highpoint Shopping Centre as part of vamff. We're about to start on a new range of designs for Silly Rabbit so watch this space! Meanwhile, here's a few pics (and the transformation video!) of Hayley's work for The Colour Studio.
The Colour Studio Transformation took place live in Highpoint Shopping centre over 4 days in early March.
If you like Hayley's art then check out the rest of her work over at www.hayleyscilini.com

I stumbled across these AMAZING photographs by German photographer Jonas von der Hude whilst internetting the other day and I just had to share them with you! The compositions and colour combinations are just incredible, I'm totally in love with his work. These particular images were shot for German interiors magazine SCHÖNER WOHNEN for a feature called 'Color Stories'. Enjoy! Hayles x
So just before Easter we had a very special and unusual request from our lovely stockist, Proforma Store. The order; a giant one meter tall paper origami rabbit for their Easter window display. Always up for a challenge we decided to give it a crack!
It worked out that we would need to join together 12 large sheets of paper to make a 2m x 2m square that would then fold down to create the 1m high rabbit. Needless to say this was no easy task but we manged to pull it off. We also made some little friends to go with the giant rabbit that stand about 50cm and 30cm tall.
Here are the rabbits in their new home at Proforma. You can still see them there if you're keen to hop over for a visit. xo
So that was a super busy and hectic weekend for us, but we still had lots of fun! We chatted with lots of lovely designers and makers at both markets and of course lots of lovely customers! Craft Hatch was cute and cosy and we loved seeing so many talented emerging designers getting out there. We were up at the crack of dawn on Sunday for a 7.30am bump-in in Yarra Valley, that was kinda tough! Suffice to say we needed a few coffees to get us through. The setting for Yarra Valley Design Market was just gorgeous though and we even got to see the sunrise on the drive over. Thanks to everyone that came along and supported us. xox
We're really excited to announce that we will be debuting at two big Design Markets on the weekend of the 23rd and 24th of March -Craft Hatch at 1000£ Bend and the Yarra Valley Design Market at Rochford Wines in the beautiful Yarra Valley. We're super busy at the moment getting ready for what is sure to be a huge weekend. Hope to see some of your lovely faces there! xo
